Da Vinci Journal Tutorial for Vectoria Designs

Hello everyone!

Just before the year ends, I want to share the last tutorial for 2021 and it will be for Vectoria Designs, featuring one of their wonderfully designed collections - Da Vinci.

Digital papers are becoming more and more popular and Vectoria Designs is right here for you, having a huge variety of digital papers for any themes you could have thought about. Make sure to check out their Etsy store.

The Da Vinci Pack particularly is available here
https://craft.vectoriadesigns.com/apc0131

The journal that I am sharing with you today, has a fabric cover, painted with acrylic paint. It also has a decorative chain stitching on the spine and a bunch of cut out pieces from the collection on the journal cover. I am very pleased with how everything turned out, although I must admit, I struggled with the idea for this journal at first.

The pages in the Da Vinci pack are full of beauty!

Let me shnow you some more pictures of my journal now:

And here are some close-ups of the stitching on the spine. I hope you like it!

In the tutorial I mention a template that I used for preparing the holes for the stitching, Here it is:

You can always use the techniques that I am sharing in my tutorials for creating something of your own, not necessarily with the papers that I use. And if you do create a project following one of my tutorials, I would love for you to share the results with me. You can tag me on Instagram (@clayguana) or on FaceBook (Alexandra Morein).

You can watch the flip through and the tutorial on my You Tube channel, just click the link below - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oiq96Tty_DU

Thanks for stopping by my blog today!

Graphic 45 Floral Shoppe Suitcase and a Tiny Album with a Drawer

Hi!

If I decided to catch up on posting the projects that I have completed in 2021, I cannot leave out a G45 "Floral Shoppe" suitcase.

Once the Floral Shoppe collection was released, I knew I MUST have it! I stocked up on a few sets and I am very glad I did, I LOVE these papers!

In 2018 I filmed two tutorials and projects showcasing the "Floral Shoppe".

The suitcase that I am sharing with you today has a few items inside:
- a mini album with a drawer in the spine
- a few tags bound on a ring
- and a notebook (with plain pages for writing).

Let's have another look at the suitcase though:

Now let's open the suitcase and peek inside:

Here are the items that the suitcase holds:

The notebook:

The tags:

And the tiny album, with a drawer in the spine:

Remember this project? With a drawer attached to the back of the album? This time I wanted to try placing a drawer somewhere else :)

The pages in the album are simple frames for the pictures and pockets for more pictures/notes:

If you want to create a similar suitcase, don't forget that I have a tutorial on my channel:

Thanks for your company today!
