Octagon Sewing Box with the G45 Vintage Hollywood Collection

Hello dear readers!

Although most of you (as I am only guessing) are paper crafters, you must have threads and needles and other things that you occasionally use for needlework. I definitely know that I do :))

A while ago I made a little fabric needle book for storing my needles in, and with time I needed a place for some other tools that I had too.

This gave me an idea to create a sewing box and today I am excited to show you the result of what I came up with.

For embellishing the box I've used one of the recently released paper collections by Graphic 45 - "Vintage Hollywood". The box has an octagon shape, a pull on the lid, some label holders on the sides of the lid, as well as the handles/pull on the sides of its base.

Inside the box there are two layers, one of which (the top one) has two pull-out shaped drawers and the other (the bottom one) has a round pin-cushion holder and some more space for threads storage.

On the inner side of the lid there are places for additional tools, like tailor's pencils, small scissors, threaders and so on.

I cannot tell you how much I enjoyed designing and putting this box together!! I created another one too and will share it later.

The tutorial for creating this box will be coming soon and will be available for purchase on my shop.

Here are the links to the G45 papers which I used:

And in this video you can peek inside the box together with me:

PS:
Every time when posting a paid tutorial, I get questions whether I am going to charge for all of my tutorials from now on. So here is my answer:
'I have a ton of free tutorials (including elaborate projects) on my You Tube for which I could charge money More free tutorials will definitely be coming in the future, but some of the tutorials I decide not to release for free.

Thank you for your warm comments and support.

Respectfully Yours!

ATC Trunk - Tutorial Available

Hello dear visitors!

A month ago I had a post with the ATC Trunk, created with the "Botany Summer" paper collection from Fabrika Decoru.

I was asked if there will be a tutorial and today I am happy to update you that the tutorial is ready and can be purchased in my Shop here.

The tutorial is in the video format. I explain to you and show step by step the process of building the trunk, give you all the measurements for cutting the chipboard pieces and provide some crafty tips along the way too :)

"Photographs and Memories" will have an exclusive kit for building up the 'Botany Summer' ATC trunk. The kit will include all the necessary supplies not only for the trunk, but also for the ATC cards which I shared here. (The tutorial doesn't cover the process of creating the ATCs though).

If you purchase the kit, you get the tutorial for free.
The number of the kits is very limited, so hurry up!

The second version of the trunk which you will see in the tutorial, features another paper collection by  Fabrika Decoru - "Botany Winter".

The trunk is built from scratch out of heavy weight chipboard:

Here is a video overview of this project:

I am thankful for your visit and support.

Top Load Mini Album In a Box - Botany Summer 'Fabrika Decoru'

One more belated project share is a mini album in a box, which was created for the 'Fabrika Decoru' design team.

If you follow me and view the posts from time to time, you can remember that I already created this mini a box with the G45 "Voyage beneath the sea" paper line. I had a video tutorial for this project too. The sound quality is very low (yep, it was one of my failures to layer the sound on the video, instead of filming all together at the same time), but those who really like the idea and want to build the same album in a box, can turn the volume up and listen carefully :)))
This is exactly what I did, in order to recreate my own box one more time, with another paper.

So here is the result:

There are six pocket pages in the album, each page has a magnetic pull-out photo mat.

When you take the album out of the box, the whole construction looks like this:

Here is the list of the "Fabrika Decoru" products which were used for creating this project:

I hope you like the idea of the top load mini album and find it inspiring.

A Retro Style Mini Album - 'Studio 75' Inspiration

Hello everyone!

Want to share with you a mini album which was created for the Studio 75 design team. It's a retro style album embellished with the "Mr. & Mrs Black" paper collection (the links to the products will appear in this post below).

The dies are mostly from the Fantasy Hobby Shop, and the stamps are by Lesya Zgharda

Here is a close-up of the front cover. I've glued down a little acrylic glass pebble on top of the clock:

The album has a lot of flaps, belly bands and photo mats, although it doesn't have a lot of embellishments.

And here is the link to the paper set in the 'Studio 75' store (click on the image below):

Thanks for stopping by!
Have a great week.
