The 2016 is almost over and in my today's post I want to wish to everyone of you, my dear readers, all the best in the coming 2017. I wish you new goals, including creative goals of course, new experiences and new positive emotions, a lot of love and appreciation from those who are dear to your heart, less stress and failures, a lot of health and mental peace.
My last card of this year is for the I Am Roses team, and of course it is made in the winter spirit :)
I want to thank you dear friends for your support and sweet comments, for your feedbacks and messages. I am looking forward to start the 2017 which will bring more projects and challenges for different design teams, including a few new ones.
Today I am popping in to share a steampunk style box and a tutorial for creating it. The project was made for the Fantasy Hobby Shop, so I used the following dies from this brand:
A list of the needed tools and supplies: 12"х 12" medium weight chipboard (1 pc) 12"х 12" black cardstock (2 pc) 12"х 12" craft cardstock (2 pc) scor-tape hot glue scissors ruler wet glue of your choice poking tool Duck Tape Distress Stain (Vintage Photo) Distress Ink (Walnut Stain) Distress Crackle Paint embossing powders (Black and Copper) steampunk stamps metal closures metal cogs brads
The box measures 4.5" X 4.5" and is 2" deep.
Here is another close-up of the cover:
The pictures don't show the real pretty look of the box, so only if you follow the tutorial and will create one for yourself, you will be able to understand and see how great it is :))
Today I am here with an inspiration for the Fantasy hobby shop and I would like to share a little album which has 6 shaker pocket pages. inside each page there are cards with the definitions of LOVE by different famous people.
To embellish the album, I've used the following "Fantasy" dies:
The album is completely not functional and I created it mostly for fun. It measures 3" X 4", the spine is 1 3/4". It is covered with fabric and has a moving spine, which is attached only to the back cover. A ribbon holds the album closed.
The paper is from an old Bo Bunny stack - "Love Letters". The flowers are from I Am Roses.
Here are the definitions which I found and put together in one file ready for printing, you are welcome to use them if you wish.
That's all from me for today. Thanks for stopping by!

My contribution and suggestion is creating an interactive flip book.
The flip book that you see at the picture above was created not so long ago and (for a change) I decided to make it with a fabric cover. You can view the post with more pictures here.
There were several versions of Flip Books which I created before. You can make them either single or double, embellish the front cover to your liking and give away to the friends and the close people. I am sure they will like it, and you will have a ton of fun making them.
Here is one more, using the Authentique "Durable" paper collection:
You can find a video tutorial for creating this book on my You Tube Channel:
Once you understand the way of constructing the 4.5 X 4.5" book, you can use my picture tutorial and to create a larger (6X6") flip book, using the measurements from that post.
Have fun hopping and good luck in the prize winning!!!
My today's post is for the Fantasy Hobby Shop Design Team. And I would like to share a flip book, like the ones which I created before (here, here and here). But this time I covered the cover with fabric and made an elastic band closure. The papers which I used are by Kaisercraft "Yuletide", they are the leftovers from this album :)
Today starts the last for this year "Anything Goes" Challenge at the I Am Roses blog.
To inspire you to participate in it, I created a little heart shaped mini album. The album has a fabric cover and the pages are bound using two ribbons. I've added the third ribbon on the side for more stability, as it keeps the album closed together.
Here are some close-ups of the details on the cover:
Here are the inside pages:
The back cover is also covered with fabric:
