LLLC - Easter Use New Release

Hello and another happy Monday to all of you!

After the new relase, the LLLC design team is always creating more projects with the new products over the next two weeks. This means that today, I have another card for you, featuring the spring release products from La-La Land Crafts.

For the first time I used the "Build-a-Bunny" die, and I am loving it! How cute is that little fella? You can either create a plain bunny, layering all the pieces, or you can make it into a shaker (which I did).

Here is the list of the products that I used today:

The white bunny's smaller friends are colored with Copics:
Bunnies: E44, E43, E42, E41 + R22, R20
Shovel: E37, E35, E34 + W4, W2, W0
Carrot: R27, YR07, Y38, Y15 + YG95, G17, G05, YG06

I hope you like my card and thanks for stopping by.

Have a nice week!

La-La Land Crafts - A Birthday Card

Hello dear all!

I hope you are doing well and enjoy a warm weather, like we do here. It's so nice to begin a new week with a ray of warm morning sunshine peeking through the windows.

For my today's card for the La-La Land Crafts team, I've used a cute sheep from the Ewe Take the Cake Clear Stamp Set . Isn't it perfect for a birthday card?

Just a couple layers and a few die cuts make a great CAS card.

Here is the list of the LLLC products that I used today:

Thank you so much for stopping by!

La-La Land Crafts - An Interactive Slider Card

Hello!

This week inspiration theme over the La-La Land Crafts blog is all about Interactive Cards. How fun! You should check the blog to see what the rest of the design team members have created.

I am still crazy about the awesome unicorns  from "Whats the Scoop" stamp set and used one of them on my today's card.

"So what is here interactive", you'll ask. The next picture might give the answer for that question, just spot the difference :)

The ice cream cone slides out of the pocket, once you pull the knob down.

You can find the list of the products that I used for creating this card below:

The stamped image was colored with Copics:
Unicorn’s Body: E44, E43, E42, E41
                           C9, C7, C5
Unicorn’s Mane: V09, V06;
                            YG95, YG23, YG21;

                            YR18, Y35, Y15

That's all from me for today! See you around soon!

Vintage Style Journals + A Digital Magazine Share

Hello everyone!

Spoiler alert - it's a long post! :)

Spring has finally come to Texas and it feels amazing! We missed the warm wether so much!

We visited Botanical Gardens today and being impressed by the beautiful florals outside, today I'd like to share these two vintage style journals, which have quite a few beautiful botanical illustrations inside:

I have always enjoyed making journals (you can have a look at some of my older ones herehere or here), but vintage style junk journals have become my new passion. Both of the journals that I am sharing today, were inspired by the the fantastic works of Wendy Connors-Beckett a.k.a. Wendy's Journal Adventure. If you enjoy journal making and you are not familiar with Wendy's channel, I do recomment that you check it out, she is fantastic!

In the base of the journals, there are envelopes, that's why each page can serve as a pocket.

I noticed that I started to turn more and more to the sellers of digital ephemera on Etsy. One can find so many digital kits with vintage ephemera there! One of my favorite stores is Love Junk Journals, run and owned by Tracie Fox.

Not only Tracie has an amazing store, but she also initiated a launch of a digital magazine about crafters for crafters. The magazine it called "Foxy Rag"; 4 issues have been released so far and all of them can be purchased (and then downloaded) from the Foxy Rag Etsy store

I am excited to say that there is a short article about me in the 4th issue of the magazine. Thank you Tracie for this opportunity!

Inside the 4th issue of 'Foxy Rag' you will find 32 pages of articles, usable elements, and features on new Etsy shops, new YouTube channels and artists, plus lots more besides.
The magazine includes 12 pages of digital vintage style ephemera which  can be printed out and used in your journals (click on the pictures below to open them in a new window):

It is definitely worth checking out.

I think I will finish my today's post with a few pictures of the flowers from the Botanical Garden:

This was my longest blog post ever. Thanks for reaching all the way to the end of it!
Have a blessed day!
