I Am Roses Anything Goes Challenge Reminder

Hello everyone!

My today's card is intended to remind you about the "Anything Goes" challenge at the I Am Roses Challenge blog. Don't forget that winners get awesome prizes as well. You have one week left, to submit your creations to the March challenge.

Anyway, for my card I used a topper (this is a pre-colored image, for those who are not familiar with the term), with an image from Sylvia Zet. It's called "Spring Time" if you want to get it as a digital stamp, and the topper sheet was from The Hobby House, and was called "Sweet Meadow" (HHWS024).

Here's what I've come up with:

I've used the following flowers from I Am Roses:
Small Mixed Pink Paper Flowers
Mixed Purple & Pink Lily Paper Flowers
White Puffy Paper Flowers

Here are the close-ups:

I have never used card toppers before, but I think this time will not be the last. Moreover, i have now several topper sheets with different images and I just love them all :)

I hope this card will inspire you to go and create something for our I Am Roses Challenge.

Have a nice day and thank you for stopping by for a visit.

Hugs,
Alexandra

A Masculine Flip Book Using "Durable" Paper by Authentique - Tutorial

Hello everyone!

I got a lot of messages from you, asking to create a video tutorial on constructing a flip book of a smaller size (although I had a picture tutorial for creating it in 6" X 6").

You wanted it, it got it :)

For creating the new flip book I used the "Durable" 6x6 paper pad from Authentique. This project can be completed using only 3 pieces of 12x12" cardstock and one sheet of A4 chipboard. Embellishing though demands about 17 pages of 6x6 papers, so take it into account.

You can purchase the kit for creating the same Flip Book as mine, from Photographs and Memories.

Here's my finished book:

Here are the view of the inside:

I did not have any sticker sheet or other embellies from this collection, so all you see was cut out from the 6X6 papers, including the banner on the front inside cover.

My husband said, that this flip book reminds him of a portmonee, so I guess I achieved my goal in creating a masculine gift :)

Here is the link to the video tutorial on my You Tube channel.

Don't forget to subscribe, to get updates on the new tutorials.

Thanks for visiting and have a nice day!

Alexandra

A Notebook Using Prima "Seashore"

Hello everyone!

I've finished a notebook with two handmade inserts, a pocket for small notes and a picture frame. The whole construction looks like a tri fold and closes with an elastic band.

Here's a closer look at the cover (I've cut out some elements from the papers and also used some clay marine themed embellishments, alongside with some sea shells and crystals):

The composition is very dimensional, but I wasn't able to take a picture which could do more justice to it.

Here's a video of how I created this notebook:

I hope you like it.
