Hi!
A journal that I'd like to show you today was created back in February. Just like a few other porjects, it has been patiently waiting for its turn to get photographed. I am very fond of how it turned out!
The flaps inside the journal are inspired by Ruth from @journallyours. I have found Ruth's You Tube channel at first, and only after that followed her on IG. She is so talented! I am sure some of you stumbled upon Ruth's gorgeous embroideries on Pinterest, they are very detailed and absolutely beautiful. She also has a very interesting way of using acetate for creating pockets and see through windows.
I was so inpoired by her works, that I tried to create a journal with lots of windows, pockets and flaps too. There are no embroideries in it :) I can't even imagine how lond it takes Ruth to complete a journal full of embroidered pockets and journalling cards. I am still not there, for sure.
I did embroider a floral motif for the spine and made a moth/butterfly for the front cover.
I hope you like it!
On the pages of the journal I used several digital kits, some of them were from Vectoria Designs, some from RoxyCreations, some from Tracy Fox and lots of others.
Since there are numerous pictures of the pages below, I will keep their thumbnails small. You can enlarge each photo by clicking it.
I am very thankful to Ruth for inspiration and can't wait to see her next journals.
