Window Box Tutorial

Hello dear all!

I have finally finished editing the first part of a new tutorial for creating a Window Box. I intend to make etither a notebook/journal or a mini album to go inside the box, using the Graphic 45 "Woodland Friends" collection, but for now, only the first part of the video is ready and I am more than happy to share it wth you on my YT channel. 

This box is a remake of my old project from 2017. You can find the pictures of the box which was created for the Studio 75 design team here.

The "revisited" version of the box is deeper and slightly bigger.

Figure Skater Marci - La-La Land Crafts

Hello all!!

I made a card for the Monday Inspiration over the La-La Land Crafts blog, but for a couple of reasons I wasn't able to show it on the official company blog.

The card turned out so nice though, that I would still like to share it with you. In my opinion, Marci Figure Skater is perfect for winter birthday cards!

Trapezium Purse - Tutorial

Hello everyone!

Back in 2018 I created a Trapezium Purse and an album, and started working on a tutorial. I filmed 2 parts of the tutorial, but did not finish the third one, in which we were supposed to create an album for the purse. 

The two parts of the video tutorial have been safely stored on my computer since then, while I hoped to shoot the process of making a matching album. In the beginning of 2021 I decided that it was time to post what I had filmed so far :) I think it is a really nice project and an album can be easily created by any of you independently. The only thing you should bear in mind while making it, are the measurements - 6" X 6" covers and a 2" spine.

Part 1 of the tutorial guides you through the process of creating the base of the purse:

Part 2 shows how to create a fabric flap, create a handle and assemble the purse.

A Candy Box Video Tutorial for La-La Land Crafts

Hello everyone!

Back in 2019 La-La Land Crafts were having a series of Christmas Tutorials and it was welcomed by the LLLC fans. This year we have decided to stick to this new tradition. My today's tutorial will be the #6 in the series (you are welcome to find the previous tutorials from the design team, as well as the other tutorials on the LLLC blog). December 2020 NEW RELEASE - Day 2 + A Video Tip

I can't even tell you how easy it is now to create this kind of pop-up cards with the die! It can't be easier than this for sure!

***I have a quick video tip to share with you as well. Seems like it is possible to use the 1/2" twist and pop-up die on projects with a spine which is narrower than 1/2". The thing to remember is that you can use it on the narrower spines, but not on the wider ones. For example, if your spine is 3/4", you have to use the twist and pop-up die which has a 3/4" square opening in the  middle.

La-La Land Crafts Inspiration Monday - Encouragement

Hello dear readers!

It's been a long time since my previous post on the blog, but I have a good excuse! I have been busy at the annual La-La Land Craft Palooza Retreat. We usually go for 3 days to California to craft, socialize and have fun. Because of everything happening this year, the retreat was virtual, but it was not less exciting and we had a lot of fun. I taught one LIVE class and also had 3 pre-recorded tutorials which are available for the attendees in the closed FB Group of our event. If you are one of the LLLC fans, please consider joining us next time and be on the lookout for the announcements concerning the next dates of the Palooza Retreat. With that being said, let's move on to the Inspiration Monday post :)

I have a card featuring "Marci With Lemons" for our inspirational theme of the week over the La-La Land Craft blog, which is 'Encouragement'.

The papers that I used for this card are from the recently released "Asian Fusion" paper pack. There are a lot of floral and geometrical patterns in this pack too, so it can be used for lots of cards and projects that are not necessarily Asian themed too. I love this paper!

I also caught myself on a thought that creating shaker frames for my cards now is so easy with the new LLLC dies, which come in different shapes and sizes. This time I used the 'Postage Squares' Die along with the 'Double Stitched Rectangles' Die. 

The lemons were a cute finishing touch here. I die cut them using the 'Lemons Lemonade' Die and covered them with the Wink of Stella, then added a bit of glitter on the leaves.
