Hello everyone and Happy New Year!
I hope you had a lovely time with your friends and family during the holiday season {I know I did}. The celebrations ended in a blink of an eyes and now it's time to get back to the daily routines, including some crafting too!
Today I want to share a one-page-mini-album, which was created with the La-La Land Crafts products (the links may be found below):
My daughter had a New Year Party with her friends from Gymnastics Program (which she has been attending for a year now). The girls had a Secret Santa gift exchange. To top off the gift that we prepared for our gift buddy, I included this little album too.
Since the year of 2020 is a year of a rat, this clear stamp set from La-La Land Crafts couldn't suit the occasion better. All of the little mice are taken from the "Caroling We Go" set.
The construction of the album is based on a really old tutorial, which (I bet) lots of you must have already seen and been familiar with.
Once you flip the closure with a skating mouse to the top, there are snowy hills and stitched trees which can be seen on the front cover:
Inside the album, there are three sections:
The central section flips to the bottom ,revealing a place for a picture:
There is a belly band with a couple of post cards too. To create them I used the stamp set called "Christmas Postcard":
Inside the pocket on the right of the album, I added two Luggage Tags:
I am still in love with the Half Doily die from the November 2019 Release:
Besides the numerous dies which can still be found at the La-La Land Crafts online store, I used some of the older dies as well. For example, this funky Christmas tree and a filigree snowflake on the left flap of the album:

For coloring the cute mice, I used the Copic colors listed below:
Greys: C6, C4, C2, C0
Reds: T6, E09, E07, R24
Blues: B39, B37, B34
Mice Noses: R85, R00
Thank you guys for sticking around!
I wish all of you a great year of success, creativity, love and health! Sending warm hugs to all of you!
WOW! What a gorgeous album. Love all the little details.
