Travel Ledger - Mini Album

In this third post for today I'm sharing a simple mini album which I created using a "Travel Ledger" paper collection from Teresa Collins. These papers are beautiful, as well as the die-cut sheets. They kind of whisper to you what exactly you should create with them :)

The idea to create this kind of cover was inspired by one of the mini albums Aida Haron created, I cannot post a picture here, because it's the property of "Made with Love" Singapore, and unfortunately Aida doesn't have a picture of it on her blog. Sorry for that.

Anyway, here's my album:

On the cover I used a new dies set I've recently purchased . It's by American Crafts - Shimelle Collection - Globe, Lovely and Banner. And of course the window die - from Tim Holtz.

I covered the spine with washi tape I had in my stash and then sewed the whole cover along the perimeter. Added a couple of charms to the spine as well:

The pages are quite simple, not pocket ones, embellished only with the die cut elements from the paper collection and connected together using "Bind-it-All":

Here and there I used several Maya Road envelopes:

The window is a shaker with micro beads inside:

As I already told you, this album fits perfectly inside the vintage suitcase I made and shared in this post.

I've uploaded a video to YouTube, where you can quickly flip with me through the pages :)

I'm thankful for your visit and comments!

Take care!

    1. Thank you Efrat! This album was created within 2 days. Not full days of course, I was making it between making the dishes, cooking and taking care of Eva :)

  6. I love your album. Is your cover made with chip board? How did you sew it? Was it by hand or a machine? Nicely done.

    1. I used two layers of lightweight chipboard for the cover, and sew it using the machine.
