Iris from Whimsy Stamps for I Am Roses DT

Hello dear friends!

With my today's post I want to remind you about the Anything Goes challenge at the I Am Roses blog. You still have time to enter your creations and share your projects with the team and other crafters.

Anyway, besides the beautiful and versatile flowers from I Am Roses (all of the links will appear at the bottom of this post) I've used a digital stamp from Sylvia Zet, which is called Iris. I actually have it in a digital version, but I couldn't find the link to it any more, only to the rubber stamp here.

Iris is colored with copics (I will put down the color later):

And here are more of the details:

The dies I used here are from Spellbinders, Go Kreate, Marianne Design, Simon Says Stamp, Magnolia.

I hope you like the card and I succeeded to inspire you at least a little bit.

"Precious Memories" Graphic 45 - Mini Album in a Shadowbox

Hello everyone!

The card from me will follow later today, and now I wanted to share a little mini album which I created using the wonderful Graphic 45 paper from the "Precious Memories" Collection.

It's actually not only an album, but a shadowbox too, which holds the album inside.

For making a shadowbox I followed the tutorial, which you may find here.

Here are the details of the cover:

I used the Baby Dress die from Magnolia (Doohickey club vol. 5), Taylored Expressions (Baby Treat Toppers), Baby word die from Simon Says Stamp, a Doily die from Cheery Lynn.

The album is inside this box and it measures 4 3/8" X 4 3/8" with the 1 3/8" spine. It has 4 pocket pages with 4 tags for journaling inside each page.

Since the album is tiny, I decided to call it "The first days of my life" and to put there several pics of my baby, on which we had just met :)
The album can hold about 8 pictures on the pages (and 8 more (if desired) on the inside tags).

This was a fun project to complete, and Once again I understand that Graphic 45 papers are a true pleasure to work with.

Thanks for visiting.

Have a nice weekend!

Hugs,
Alexandra

July Challenge at the Noor! Design - GDT Post

Hello dear visitors!

Today starts a new Challenge (#8) at the Noor Design UK blog. The theme is "Something Old, Something New". As a GDT member I created the following card, using the new Fruit Border Die and the Cocktails die (the links will appear at the bottom of this post):

Th stamped image is from Magnolia - Flip Flop Tilda.

Here are more views of the close-ups:

The flowers are from I Am Roses, the Flip Flop die is from La-La Land Crafts. The papers are from Kaisercraft.

The card is sooo dimensional! It's a real pity the pictures don't show that as I would like to.

You can submit your creations to the challenge here and state GDT next to your name if you want to be chosen as one of the next Guest Designers at the Noor Design UK.

Have fun!

Hugs,
Alexandra
