Travel Notebook using the Safari Adventure paper from Graphic 45

Hello everyone!!!

I have been so busy lately with the family stuff and kids, that I barely had time for crafting. The project which I want to share with you today, was finished in the previous month and has only been waiting to be posted.

Every month the design team members of Graphic 45 are getting different assignments for creating certain projects. One of the assignments for August was creating a travel themed project, using washi tape and different tags & staples from the brand.

In one of the previous posts you already saw my travel case with a mini album so this time I though I'd make a travel notebook, using the same {absolutely fantastic} paper - "Safari Adventure".

Several words about this notebook - the cover is covered with fabric and the pages are bound with a coil (I used my Cinch for doing that). To give a vintage look to the pages, I took the plain printing paper and tea-dyed it. It was my first try in the tea-dying process. It's not difficult but time consuming, you also have to find a place to dry the pages without staining the floor with the tea :)

Anyway, once dry, I cut the pages into half and stamped travel related images on each of them. For making the dividers I used the "Safari Adventure" papers.

First, here are some close-up pics of the cover:

Now, let's have a look inside.
The tags were used as embellishments or {in some places} as pockets, while the washi tape helped me to add another finishing touch to the dividers and the pages of the notebook.

Here is the list of the Graphic 45 items used for creating this notebook:

Other products:
Kraft cardstock
Stamps: Carta Bella, Heidy Swapp, Stampers Anonymous
Dies: Tim Holtz, Carta Bella
Metal embellishments from my stash
Martha Stewart Corner Punch

To finish off today's long post, I created a video flip through of the notebook, in case you want to see not only pictures :)

Hello dear all!

A new month means a coming out of a new club kit from La-La Land Crafts. Today I would like to show you the projects created with the July club kit.

The first is a shadow box with the sweet Renaissance Marci in the middle:

Marci is colored with Copics:

Hair: E11, E15, E18
Outfit: W3, W2, W1, W0

I really like the dies from this kit! The flowers I used are from the I Am Roses.

The second project created with the kit is a card, featuring the fairy unicorn.

I mirror stamped the original unicorn and in this post below I have a short video on how to do that.

The Copic colors I used are as follows:
W4, W1, W0
RV29, RV14, RV13, RV10
V09, V06, V04, V01
BG18, BG13, BG11

This is what the kit includes:

I hope you like both of the cards and thank you so much for stopping by. Have a great day!
