Some Changes

Hello my dear friends!

Some of you may already know, that I decided to step down from the Mo Manning 'Dream Team'. The Dream Team was my first serious DT and I will always cherish the memory of the fun time I had while being a part of it (since August 2013 till February 2015).
I'm so grateful for everything I learned and to the people I got to know, but changing things from time to time is good.

Another news is that starting from the 1st of March I'm joining the Little Darlings Rubber Stamps Design Team!! Yeyyy :)

My first contribution as a DT member will be this card with 'Laila' from the DollHouse collection. The image is drawn by the artist who's name is Claudia Tremblay.

Laila is colored with Copics:
Skin: E04, E13, E11, E00, E000 + RV21
Hair: E53, E55, E57, E59
Outfit: B99, B97, B95, B93
            R89, R85, R83, R81
            G99, G95, G24, YG21

More of the details:

I used several dies for creating the card (you may find the links to the products at the bottom of this post).

I hope you like the image and a card and I've inspired you to try and color one by yourself.

Thanks for stopping by :)

C.C.Designs - Pixie

Hello lovelies!

I'm popping in to share an envelope card with "Pixie" from the February 2015 Pollycraft release at C.C.Designs.

The image is glues to the insert and may be pulled out:

Pixie is colored with Copics:
Skin: E04, E11, E00, E000 +RV21
Hair: E11, E13, E15, E18
Outfit: V99, V95, V93, V91
Wings: BG01, BG00, BG000
Dandellion: W5, W3, W1, W0 + Blender

For creating the envelope I used a stencil from Dutch Doobadoo - Square With Diamond (you can find the link to the product at the bottom of this post).

For creating a background on the insert, I used a "Mini Hearts" stencil from C.C.Designs. I covered the paper with clear gesso, used a stencil to apply a texture paste and then without removing a stenil, spayed the surface with several colors of pastel glimmer mists, to match the colors of the papers.

The winged hearts are from C.C.Designs as well, and they came with the Angel Wings Outline Die.

The sentiment is from Amy R "Elegant Valentine" set, and it is stamped on a heart from the "Grunge Envelope" die set.

This was a fun project to create!
I hope you like it :)

A card for I Am Roses DT

Hello guys!

Today I want to share with you a card made for the I Am Roses Design Team. The image I chose to color is one of the Saturated Canary digital stamps, and as I understood from Krista, it's a retired one. The file I had on my computer is called "The Seasons, Spring", but I guess it's not the real name of this stamp. Anyhow, I loved coloring her and here's how she looks like on my card:

Copic Colored I used are as follows:
Skin: E04, E11, E00, E000, RV21
Hair: E11, E13, E15, E18
Outfit: E79, E77, E74, E71, E70
            R59, R46, R29, R22
Greens: G99, G97, YG23, YG11, YG00

Here are more of the details and the I Am Roses flowers' list follows too:

I Am Roses flowers:

Mixed Pink Scrapbooking Paper Curly Flowers

Mixed Pastel Color Paper Flowers

Mixed Brown Color Cherry Blossoms

Mixed Pink Paper Flowers

Mixed Soft Tone Paper Flowers

Please don't forget about the I Am Roses monthly challenge, which occurs every 15th of the month and then you have a full month to link up your creations and be eligible for prizes.  You still have time to enter the January "Anything Goes" challenge here.

Thanks for visiting and have a great day!

I would like to link this card to the February Spring Challenge at the Noor! Design UK blog (I used a Butterfly Edge Die and the Ladybirds border dies).

Hugs,
Alexandra
