It's the last day of showcasing the new character (Molli) of the La-La Land Crafts family and the dies from the recent release. All of the new items are already available for purchase here.
This week the new character' stamps and the new dies have been showcased at the La-La Land Crafts blog and now it's Team Friday's turn to introduce our makes with the new products.
My today's post is for the LDRS DT, featuring this cute "Duckie" from the recent May 2015 release:
The image was colored with the following Copic markers: Skin: E04, E11, E00, E0000 + RV21 Hair: E13, E15, E18 Outfit: B99, B95, B93, B41
E79, R85, R81, V000
W5, W3, W1 Duckie: W5, W3, W1
Y38, Y13
Here are more of the close-ups:
The base of the card was die-cut with one of the Go Kreate dies, I've also used the DewDrop Circle Die from LDRS, the corners from La-La Land Crafts, and Gold Labels 4 from Spellbinders. The yellow flowers were created using the Noor Design Sunflower Die.
The flowers are from I Am Roses.
No card with a colored image from me today, but instead of that I wanted to show you two mixed media ATC cards I made yesterday. I like to create something new and different from time to time, so my creative soul demanded to make these two :)
I piled several layers of papers, added a bit of lace, a metal piece, a thread (colored it with Distress Stain Seedless Preserves color), added silver micro beads, a bit of crackles texture paste and splatters of glimmer mists.
Here are the close-ups:
I plan to make several more and finally bind them all in a little album, for my own inspiration.
Today I'm duplicating here a tutorial, which was prepared for the La-La Land Crafts blog and it will show you how to make an accordion mini album, like the one I did some time before.
I will give you all the necessary measurements so that you can create one by yourself, including the links to the videos showing how to cover the chipboard parts of the album with the padding and the fabric, before gluing in the accordion mechanism, as well as the measurements for creating the box.
If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask here, or in the comments for the videos on You Tube.
For the inside pages *for the accordion part itself* you will need 7 pc of cardstock measuring 6 3/4" X 4 1/4" *each scored at 6 3/8” on the long side* + 1 pc measuring 6 3/8” X 4 1/4".
I was lucky to be chosen as a GDT member of the Noor! Design UK webshop for June and in this post I would like to share a baby bottle card I made using the products from Tracy's shop.
It's a shaker card and inside the shaker I've placed some elements from the Baby Paper Art. I've colored them with the Tim Holtz Spun Sugar Distress Stain and then embossed with a clear embossing powder.
The card has a ribbon closure for some extra 'girly' cuteness.
The list of the products I've used may be found at the bottom of the post.
If you have some of the Noor dies you can enter the current "Here Comes Summer" challenge.
Today starts a new challenge over at I am roses challenge blog. The theme is 'Anything goes' (as usual), and all you have to do is to incorporate at least two 'I Am Roses' products in your project and link it to IAR challenge blog.
My card was made with the "Princess Birgitta" by C.C. Designs and the following beautiful flowers from I Am Roses:
The image is colored with the following Copics: Skin: E04, E11, E00, E000, E0000 Hair: E37, E35, E33, E31 Outfit: T5, E44, E43, E42, E41
