CD Player and Case - Mini Album using Graphic 45 Cityscapes

Hello everyone!

My today's project is for the Graphic 45 Design Team, where I was given an assignment to create an easy travel themed mini album.
So... Thanks to the nature of the Cityscapes collection which I used, it is indeed a travel mini, but also a music related one because of the headphones and the design - I created a music player with a CD holder (Mini Album).

The album was created to fit into the 5” X 5” Black MixedMedia Box.
The base of the discs were cut from the Photo Mats, which came with the box.

The perfectly sized die for cutting the base of the disks was the largest from the Double Stitched Circle dies by La-La Land Crafts:
The perfectly sized die for cutting the mats of the disks out of patterned paper was the largest from the Stitched Nested Circles  by La-La Land Crafts, while the center of the disk was cut with the smallest of the Stitched Nested Circles .
To punch out the foiled disk centers I've used the circle punches of the 0.5" and 3/4" size.

The opening for taking out the disk was created on the tracing paper with the help of the Bandaid Die from the February 2016 Club Kit by La-La Land Crafts.

Here are the additional pictures of the player and the mini album:

The pictures below will give you an idea about the inside photo mats:

If you want to create a similar project by yourself, you could find useful the following measurements:

Chipboard for the album:
Covers – 4.5” X 4.5” (x2)
Spine – 4.5” x 1 3/4"

Hidden Hinge Binding for 6 pages:

On the long side score at:

> 3 7/8” > 4 1/4" > 4.5” > 4 7/8” > 5 1/4" > 5.5
> 5 7/8” > 6 1/4" > 6.5 > 6 7/8” > 7 1/4"

Black cardstock for the pages:
8 7/8” X 4 1/4"
On the long side score at: 4 1/4” > 8.5”
