Animal Kingdom - Journal and Pencil Holder Tutorial

Hello!

The fourth journal for the Junk Journaling Station is now finished and ready to be shared.

Here are the links to the previous posts and journals:
4 - You are here :)

I remind you that we worked with the digital collections by Vectoria Designs. All the collections are available for purchase and download from their Etsy store. Just type the name of the collection in the Search Field and choose the printable version of the the kit you need.

Let's look together at the whole set:

The journals might look similar in style from the outside, but each one has different features on the inside.

To go along with the Animal Kingdom Journal, I decided to make a pencil holder, too:

I just love this pair:

I used stamps from Tim Holtz on the spine of the book and added a beaded charm to it:

On the front cover I created an acetate window with the beautiful deer:

I thought that using ribbons for a closure would be the easiest:

Now let's have a look inside (click each picture to enlarge):

Working on this project was so fun! I am almost sad that it is over :) It will look spectacular on a book shelf or on a crafting desk.

Oh yeah, and the pencil holder matches it perfectly!

As I have mentioned, you will be able to visit each one of my previous posts and find the links to all the tutorials there.

As for the Animal Kingdom Journal, you can find its video overview here https://youtu.be/tgPET-2PEcM:

Hello-hello!

Today I have a set of 3 cute ATC cards that I have created with the products from "Wizard of Oz" recent release by La-La Land Crafts.

I am in love with the adorable monkeys from the Flying Monkeys Clear Stamp Set.

The sentiments that I added to each one of the card are from another set, called "Over the Rainbow":

Here are the links to the products I used:
