Over The Rainbow - La-La Land Crafts Inspiration Monday

Hello and happy Monday!

I have a quick card share today, created with the products from the recent Wizard of Oz release by La-La Land Crafts.

I used a stamp set called Over The Rainbow:

La-La Land Crafts September 2023 Release - Tales of Oz - Day 3

Hello-hello!

Day 3 of the new release showcase is here and the La-La Land Crafts design team will be sharing their projects with you throughout this whole week. 

My today's project was created for a very special online event that La-La Land Crafts has been having every year - La-La Palooza Craft Retreat. For the past 3 years the event has been virtual and allowed more people to participate in it.

La-La Land Crafts September 2023 Release - Tales of Oz - Day 2

Day 2 inspiration may be found in this post. And now to a card that I have created and wanted to share with you today:

Isn't this new "Glinda Marci" cute? I really like her dress :)

I used one patterned paper from the "Tales of Oz" paper pack for my card background, and then created the second layers using the stencil with the crystals from the WOZ Stencil Set. Before adding distress ink to the crystals, I embossed them first. It's hard to see it in the picture, but the embossed effect is really nice.

As I mentioned yesterday, the Layered Poppies Die are fantastic and will add so much beauty to any card! This time I die cut them from pink paper and used gold foiled paper for the centers.

La-La Land Crafts September 2023 Release - Tales of Oz

Hello everyone!

It's been quite a break since my last post here on the blog. I am happy to be back :)

La-La Land Crafts have a new release out and this time it is all about the Wizard of Oz. You can check out what's included in the release in the LLLC online store here.

A card that I wanted to share with you today will feature a new "Dorothy Marci" rubber stamp, along with some of the new dies, stencils and papers. You will be able to find the list of the products which I used for creating my card in this post below:

You need to check out the new paper from the pack which is called "Poppy Fields". The designs are so colorful and bright and really beautiful, there are poppies of all kinds and shapes scattered on the pages, mixed with gorgeous rainbows.

A must-have from the release is a "Poppies" Die. Creating beautifully looking poppies fast has never been easier. You can also achieve a more dimensional look by shaping the petals of each flower. In any case they look stunning and very real.

For coloring the stamped images I used Copic markers:

Dorothy:
