A Notebook in a Box for Studio75 blog

Hello everyone!

Today I'm sharing the first inspirational post as a member of the Studio75 design team for 2017. So....I created a gift set, which consists of a notebook and a matching box:

Everything that you see in the picture was created from scratch out of chipboard. For embellishing the box and the notebook I've used the gorgeous 'Mr. & Mrs. Black' Collection (the link will appear below). I love its vintage feel!!!

The box has a window lid, so even when the notebook is inside, you can see it through:

I've added fun closures to the side panel of the box:

And this is the back:

On the inside of the box there is a ribbon belly band with the gorgeous vintage car, which was cut out from one of the sheets of the collection:

The notebook is hand bound. I've used plain copy paper for creating the pages and a wax cord to bind them to the spine.

Here are a few close-ups of the cover:

I've used the following dies here:
Pen Nib Dragonfly
Cogs
Envelope Die (from AliExpress)
Branch Die (from AliExpress)

The sentiment is from the chipboard set by 'Fabrika Decoru'.

On the inside front cover there is another belly band which holds a tag and a little envelope:

On the tag you see a stamp by 'Carabelle' - Steampunk Man Portrait.

I hope you like this project! You are welcome to visit the Studio75 blog for more inspiration.

Thanks for stopping by and see you soon.
