Anything Goes - November Challenge - I Am Roses

Hello!

In the middle of each month I Am Roses invites you to submit your new projects to the "Anything Goes" Challenge and to win some awesome flowers from the company. The design team today are ready to inspire you to participate, and we also announce the winner of the previous month's challenge. So please hop to the I Am Roses blog to check all the details.

I hope to inspire you with this little mini album created as a quick gift birthday gift. I used the "Bunny Birthday Party" paper from Fabrika Dekoru, and the following flowers from the I Am Roses:
Mixed Pastel Lily Paper Flowers

Here is a link to a quick video flip through:

Now, several additional words about the album. I created it based on the really great tutorial by Svetlana Zavyalova. You can find her channel and the tutorial on YouTube. It is filmed at a speed but everything is quite clear, there is another tutorial for creating the binding too.

It  measures 6" X 6", but despite the size can hold up to 40 pictures (mostly of the 3" X 4" size).

The Hydrangea flowers from I Am Roses are perfect for album pages as they don't create too much volume.

I didn't have time to think of a lot alterations and needed to finish the album urgently. So the pockets, flips and photo mats are the same as in Svetlana's version of the album.

Every day we learn something new and sometimes others help us in that. I want to thank Svetlana for a perfect tutorial. The binding technique that she showed was new for me and indeed it is great for a small format mini albums. Bare in mind that you will have to do it differently if you plan to create a larger size mini.
