Shabby Lace and Roses - Tutorial for Vectoria Designs

Hello dear all!

I have recently finished another journal featuring a new digital collection pack from Vectoria Designs. It is called "Shabby Lace and Roses" and I am so excited to share the final result with all of you.

Since the project pack is really huge, I created a set of a journal and an evelope ephemera holder. If you wanted to create a third, or a fourth peace for the set with this paper collection, you definitely could - there are so many different sheets to choose from!

Let's have a look at the ephemera holder first, and then look closer at the journal.

I have used a variation of the Japanese binding to keep the pages of the ephemera holder together. It has 6 envelopes which were created with the help of the envelope punch board, using the printed designs from the "Shabby Lace and Roses" project pack.

To each one of the envelopes I have added an acetate window, which helps see what is stored inside:

I must say that I really love how the journal turned out, too. I had this idea for making a flexible spine with the ridges and I think I succeeded to implement it in this journal. I hope you will enjoy the process of creating such spine, as it looks so beautiful!

On the inside the journal is embellished, but not to its full capasity, there is more room for adding tags, pockets, flip out pages and more.

You can view the tutorial for creating both the envelope ephemera holder and the journal on my YT channel here https://youtu.be/oYyJ2BcAP7M

For those of you who might not have the WRMK Envelope Punch Board, but want to create the envelope ephemera holder the same size as mine, please download the PDF template of the envelope by clicking the link here. You will need to print in its Actual Size

You can also download the Envelope template with an Old Paper Texture (if you want to embellish it according to your liking). Click here to download the PDF. Again, make sure you print it in "Actual Size".

I am also posting a JPEG versions. You are welcome to use these, but they might not print in the correct size (double click and Save As...):

Have fun creating and thanks for stopping by!
