The Bug Book and The Plant Book

Hello dear visitors!

After numerous card posts, today I want to share something different and to give credit to a great crafter and artist - Tracie Fox. Lots of people in the world of junk journalling are familiar with her Vintage Style Labels, as well as many other digital kits that Tracie has in her Etsy store.

I am not on Tracie's DT and I am not her friend, so this post is solely about sharing information and providing positive feedback about a talented crafter.

I was so inspired by Tracie's recent kits, that I printed both of them and made myself two books and a couple additional tags. The binding technique that Tracie used, was introduced first (at least to me) by Suzy Shabby Soul  and I just LOVE the look of the tabs on the book spine. If you haven't tried this binding, you should definitely give it a go. It is good and effective for smaller projects.

And here is the 'Plant Book':

I have also made some cards for my future journals, using Tracie's 'Construction Cards' kit:

To top it off, I made some nature inspired junk journal inserts:

And that's all I wanted to share with you today :) Happy crafting!
