With the summer being almost ready, one needs to start getting winter projects ready as in no time we will need tons of those to give away to friends and family.
I have a little explosion box/purse to share, created with some of the La-La Land Crafts stamps and dies, all listed below.
There is a snow globe shaker in the center of the card an to be true, it looks beautiful with the glitter pieces inside. I wasn't able to get the colors of the picture correspond to the colors of the card in real life.
I did not use any patterned paper here, only stencils, stamps and distress inks.
I am a bit late with today's post, as it was supposed to get published two days ago...
We start a new "Anything Goes" Challenge at the I Am Rose blog and the good news is that we now allow to use ANY brand of flowers on your projects and don't limit you to use IAR flowers only.
To inspire you to join in and submit a project to a challenge, I created a little box for pins and a few sewing supplies. As you know, I have been taking interest lately in project which were related to sewing, patchwork and cross stitching, so here how it got expressed in scrapbooking:
The box measures 4" x 4" and is 2" high. There is a pin cushion on its lid, as you've already might have noticed.
I think that the fancy scissors die from La-La Land Crafts came super handy for this project:
Back to the challenge at the IAR blog - you have time to make a project with ANY kinds of flowers till Sept 8. We have prizes for the winners, so it's totally worth throwing your hat in and submitting your work.
I am beyond happy to be writing this post, as I've finished a tutorial for a project which I truly love and which I enjoyed creating (the previous time) with the "Sun Kissed" paper collection by
Graphic 45. That same suitcase which I made headed to the Creativation 2018 Show and I do not have it any more. For that reason I just HAD to recreate it for myself, with the same exact measurements and layouts of the pages in the album. Also, I filmed a detailed video tutorial which is currently available for purchase.
You can get the tutorial by clicking on the PayPal button below. The e-mail with the tutorial links, chipboard cutting layouts and a list of the tools and supplies will be sent to you withing up to 6 hours after the purchase (it usually happens much faster, but bear in mind the time zone differences that might be between us). The cost of the tutorial is 15 USD.
You can also purchase a kit for creating the suitcase and an album from Photographs and Memories. The tutorial is included in the price of the kit.
Let's have a closer look at the suitcase:
The paper that I used for creating the suitcase and the album is from Blue Fern and it is "an oldie but goodie" - "Seaside Cottage" from August 2016.
The album which is store inside the suitcase has a beautiful curved spine with 4 base pocket style pages, with belly bands, flaps and pockets for the pictures, as well as more pockets on the inside covers.
Here is a better look of the front cover of the album:
I've used the following sea-themed dies from La-La Land Crafts to complete the suitcase and the album:
My daughter has been invited to a birthday party which will all be unicorns-related. This was a nice excuse for me to create a card with a cute little unicorn.
The stamp that I used was from My Favorite Things, and the flowers were {OF COURSE} from ♥I Am Roses♥.
