Hello everyone!
Today it's my turn to share some inspiration over the I Am Roses Challenge Blog, so besides sharing the project which I prepared for this purpose, I would also like to remind you about the Anything Goes April Challenge and to encourage you submit your creations with the I Am Roses flowers to that challenge too.
Anyway, my project is made with the I Am Roses flowers (the links will appear below), as well as with the beautiful Graphic 45 "Portrait of a Lady" paper.
It is a suitcase-shaped box with a couple of envelopes inside. The box can be used for storing anything at all, and the envelopes are just a finishing touch :))
For cutting the shape of a suitcase (which is a top layer of the box), I've used a Sizzix die - 'Vintage Valise', while the parts of the box itself were created from scratch out of chipboard in the appropriate sizes to match the suitcase base.
Here are some close-ups and more details of the front:
This is how the back looks like:
I've attached a chipboard tag and a metal key on a ball chain to one of the handles:
On my G45 projects I always like to put that signature title. Here I framed it with one of the La-La Land dies:
Initially I wanted to created an album with the tiny envelopes' base, and look where this idea took me. The envelopes are still there though :))) I used only two of them, and just embellished them in the most simple way:
So here are the links to the I Am Roses flowers which I used on this project:
And here is the link to the G45 'Portrait of Lady' collection which includes a lot of yummy items.
This is beautiful Alexandra
