I finished another shaped mini album. For creating it I used a "Stationer's Desk" paper collection from Prima.
** Can you believe that my post with this album gained over 700 likes in Prima FaceBook Group?! Thank you, everyone who liked it and shared :)**
To tell you the truth, I didn't that much like these papers at first, and from the 12" x 12" sheets I bought only 2 pieces of the "Roses Are Red".
Since the album measures 8" X 6.5" I had to think about the way for creating the cover and the pages using only these 2 sheets (well, plus a 6" X 6" pad that I also had).
The album spine is 3" and there are 6 core pages in the album. For creating 4 of them I used Ginger's tutorial, and another 2 are simple pocket pages with the photo mats inside.
And more of the inside views:
I will soon have a tutorial for creating a smaller version of this purse album, so please stay tuned and subscribe to my You Tube Channel if you don't want to miss it.
Here's a video preview by the way :)
Have a great weekend!
Hugs,
Alexandra

DeleteAmazing work!

Love love your work. I also love making mini albums and love to see your work for inspiration.
ReplyDeleteHello Alexandra, I admire your work, you are a N°1 between us. So glad to find you. :) So right the way I did one mini bag chichichi during almost 1 week. hardest was to cover 2times album pages. I did all round by my self....not any more :). You can see my bag on FB: intensememories. Thanks again. Big hug. :) Alena
ReplyDeleteHi Alexandra, I already put video on my youtube channel :https://youtu.be/df1Gz2fHb2I. Hope you like the changes I did. Again thanks for the inspiration. :) Alena
DeleteHi Alexandra.. I am in Australia..and being inspired to make a version of this project..I was asking if I am able to sell it? I would certainly be acknowledging your design? TIA
ReplyDeleteHello Frances,
DeleteYes you can sell the final result - which is the album itself. What I would not like people to do, is to sell kits (without contacting me first).
Thank you very much for asking, I really appreciate that.
Oh I am so excited by your response..thank you. And please continue these wonderful tutorials.. I have learned a lot. xxx
DeleteThis is very nice
ReplyDeletemy question is the blue tip on your glu whats is it call it very handy
thank you from the Netherlands
Hi Alexandra i am in India. I love ur tutorial very much. I have start doing it. One of my student want to learn from me this album. Bcoz she can't understand the language. Shall I teach her. And shall I sell this album too. Thanks a lot for this wonderful album.
ReplyDeleteHello Subha! I appreciate your question. If your friend doesn't know English, you can help her & explain how to make the album, definitely. What I don't want people to do is to make money and give group classes for creating this project, as if they were the author.
DeleteOnce you handmade mini album is done, you are free to sell it or give it as a present to anyone you like.
Regards,
Alexandra
Thank u so much.
DeleteI love this album! I can not fine the leather straps and handles. I found a Daiso online store but they didn't have them.
