A Hexagon Box & A Tiny Book of Messages

Hello people!

Today I wanted to share two projects, but they were not done and intended to be a set or something, they are separate ones and I'm just sharing them together in one post.

***(My video tutorial on the box construction is available in two parts on my You Tube channel at this and this link)

So the box is made of chip board completely from scratch, and covered with the Bo Bunny papers from the Heritage Collection. It measures around 5.5" X 4 3/4" X 3 3/4":

The second is a key-chain book of messages. The original idea that I had was to make a mini book which I could took along with me, to entertain my 2 year old daughter once she gets bored on our shopping trips :) That's the reason I used the stamps from the Tim Holtz set called "Mini Baby Blueprints" and decided to use envelopes as well, so that I could put a tiny card inside and write several messages from me to my daughter (who knows, maybe this book will survive till she will start to understand what I really wanted to say with those messages).

The book measures 3" X 2 1/4" and has 6 envelope pocket pages. I used the tiny envelopes which I got a long time ago from AliExpress:

That's it, I hope you like both of these creations. Thanks for looking.

Hugs,
Alexandra

  9. I love how the hinges seem invisible with this little book! Very clever the way they hook to each envelope under the cardstock. Very nice all the way around.
