Ready For Spring - La-La Land Crafts

Our inspiration theme at the La-La Land Crafts blog for the current week was "Ready For Spring". In my head spring is associated with lots of colors. As you can see my card turned out really bright.

C.C.Designs - Pixie

Hello lovelies!

I'm popping in to share an envelope card with "Pixie" from the February 2015 Pollycraft release at C.C.Designs.

The image is glues to the insert and may be pulled out:

Pixie is colored with Copics:
Skin: E04, E11, E00, E000 +RV21
Hair: E11, E13, E15, E18
Outfit: V99, V95, V93, V91
Wings: BG01, BG00, BG000
Dandellion: W5, W3, W1, W0 + Blender

For creating the envelope I used a stencil from Dutch Doobadoo - Square With Diamond (you can find the link to the product at the bottom of this post).

For creating a background on the insert, I used a "Mini Hearts" stencil from C.C.Designs. I covered the paper with clear gesso, used a stencil to apply a texture paste and then without removing a stenil, spayed the surface with several colors of pastel glimmer mists, to match the colors of the papers.

The winged hearts are from C.C.Designs as well, and they came with the Angel Wings Outline Die.

The sentiment is from Amy R "Elegant Valentine" set, and it is stamped on a heart from the "Grunge Envelope" die set.

This was a fun project to create!

I Am Roses - February Challenge

Hello lovely people!

Every 15th of a month, a new challenge starts at the I Am Roses Challenge blog and the Design Team are encouraging you to take part in it, providing some inspiration for you too :)

Valentine's Theme @ La-La Land Crafts

Before the Valentine's Day we naturally have a "Valentine's" Inspiration Theme at the La-La Land Crafts blog.

A card for I Am Roses DT

Hello guys!

Today I want to share with you a card made for the I Am Roses Design Team. The image I chose to color is one of the Saturated Canary digital stamps, and as I understood from Krista, it's a retired one. The file I had on my computer is called "The Seasons, Spring", but I guess it's not the real name of this stamp. Anyhow, I loved coloring her and here's how she looks like on my card:

Elfie by Pollycraft - February 2015 Release at C.C.Designs

The 3 burgundy flowers which you see on my card are made by me, and all the rest are from I Am Roses.

The dies I used are from Go Kreate, Prima, Magnolia, La-La Land Crafts, MFT and of course from C.C.Designs - Make a card #3, the winged hearts are from the outline die for the Angel Wings stamp, the tiny envelopes are one of my favorites, cut with the Grunge Envelope die from C.C.
